Bamboo Shrimp

Bamboo shrimp, Atyopsis moluccensis, also known as Asian filter-feeding shrimp, fan shrimp or wood shrimp, are a freshwater species native to Southeast Asia. They have variegated white and brown colouring normally but are somewhat pink after they molt for a week or so.

They grow around 3-4 inches and are a peaceful shrimp that is great in a community setting with other peaceful fish. They thrive in water temperatures between 71-82°F (22-28°C) and a pH level of 6.5-7.5.
