Blue Shrimp - Neocaridina davidi var. 'Blue'

Blue Shrimp are a colour variant of Neocaridina davidi. They originate from China and Taiwan. Fully grown shrimp can reach 1.6 inches. You'll notice that shrimp shed their exoskeleton in the form of a ghostly white carapace. This can be left in the tank as they'll consume it for its nutrients. This hardy freshwater shrimp can live in water of 6.5-8 pH and temperatures from 65-84 fahrenheit (18-26 celcius). Keep the water clean and these shrimp will breed for you with literally zero effort.
