Buddha Pods

Buddha seed pods come from the Buddha coconut tree in parts of Southeast Asia. They are widely used as decorations in aquariums, terrariums and vivariums. 

These pods are a natural botanical that provides many benefits to an aquarium ecosystem through the release of tannins. These tannins can help prevent disease in your fish, soften your water, limit algae growth, breaking down waste and are a great source of food (especially for fry).
