Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish (Praecox)

The Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish, also know as the Praecox Rainbow, is endemic to the Mamberamo River basin in West Papua, Indonesia. They have a blue iridescent body and the males fins are red while the females are yellow. They usually grow to 2 inches. This peaceful schooling fish prefers to be in groups of 6 or more with temperatures ranging from 72-82°F and a tank size of 15+ gallons.
