Ember Tetra

Ember Tetras, Hyphessobrycon amandae, are native to the Aranguaia Riven basin of Brazil. Embers grow to a maximum overall length of approximately 1.2 inches; Most exhibit striking orange and reddish coloration with mild translucency near the pelvic fin. The eye frequently mirrors the colour of the fish and is outlined in black.

Ember tetras should be kept in acidic water with a pH of 5.5-7.5, and their recommended temperature range is between 23–29 °C (73–84 °F). It's recommended to keep a group of 6 or more as they're schooling fish. They can be in a 10+ gallon tank.
