Gold Mystery Snail

The Gold Mystery Snail, Pomacea bridgesii, is also known as the spike-topped apple snail. The native distribution of this snail is Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Peru. These snails can get up to 3 inches in diameter. They're perfectly safe to be with invertebrates and community fish. They will eat excess fish food, decaying plant matter and deceased animals. Mystery snails prefer a pH of 7.6-8.4 and a temperature of 68–84°F. It's best to keep them in a 10+ gallon aquarium due to the their size.
