Halfmoon Betta

Halfmoon Betta's are a variant of the Betta Splendens and characterized by their D-shaped caudal fin that forms a 180° angle. The edges of the tail are, ideally, crisp and straight.

The Siamese fighting fish also known as the Betta splendens, or simply the betta, are originally from Southeast Asia. They males are known to be quite aggressive to other members of their species so they're best kept as the only betta in an aquarium. Since they like being kept alone, you can house them in a 5+ gallon aquarium.

They prefer temperatures between 75–82 °F (24–28 °C) and a pH range of 6.5-7.5.
