Harlequin Rasbora

The Harlequin Rasbora, Trigonostigma heteromorpha, is the best known and most widely kept rasbora around the world. Their common name alludes to the black triangular patch on the body, reminiscent of the patterns found on the costume of a harlequin. This fish also gets orange-red and silver colouring on its body. They prefer water temperature of 22-26⁰C or 72-78⁰F, a pH of 6-7 and will thrive in aquariums with 10 gallons or more.
