Lava Snail

Lava Snails, also known as Black Devil Snail and Faunus ater, are a species of brackish water snail. They are widespread throughout Southeast Asia. Even though they are naturally found in brackish water, they can also live in freshwater aquariums. The lack of salt in freshwater aquariums pretty much guarantees they won't reproduce in your tank.

Lava snails prefer a temperature of 71–82° F (22–28° C) and a pH range 7-8.5.
