Pearl Gourami

Pearl Gourami, Trichopodus leerii, are native to Southeast Asia. They can reach a maximum size of 4.7 inches. Its body is a brownish-silver colour, covered in a pearl-like pattern with a distinct black line running from the fish's head, and gradually thinning towards the caudal fin. A minimum of 15 gallons is required for these fish, with water temperatures of 75°F to 82°F (24°C to 28°C) and a pH range 6.0 to 7.5.
