Rummynose Tetra

Rummynose Tetras are originally from South America, found in Brazil and Venezuela. They're a schooling fish which means they travel in groups ranging from 6-32 fish. They are an easily recognizable tetra with their red-heads and silver-greenish bodies. They also display a black and white striped tail fin. 

They're an extremely peaceful fish and a perfect addition for a community tank. They prefer temperatures of 24 to 31 °C (75 to 88 °F), though a temperature as high as 91°F is sometimes necessary for breeding. They prefer soft acidic water and thrive in a pH range of 5.6-7.4. Good tank mates for them would be other tetras, danios, barbs, rainbows, smaller gourami and some species of bristlenose catfish.
